Core Objectives

The Aims & Objectives of the Association shall include:

  1. PROMOTIION OF UNITY & WELFARE OF THE UMMAH: To promote unity and welfare of Muslim communities on the Island.
  2. PROVISION OF MUSLIM SOCIAL PROJECTS & INFRASTRUCTURE: To ensure the provision of Muslim Social Projects and Infrastructure (MSP&I) such as cemeteries, orphanages, capacity development centers, hospitals, among others.
  3. SOCIO-ECONOMIC & FINANCIAL INCLUSION PROGRAMS & PROJECTS To be deliberate in the planning and delivering programs and projects that promote social, economic, and religious empowerment and overall prosperity of the Muslim Ummah.
  4. PROTECTION OF ISLAMIC VALUES & INTERESTS: To be a proactive non-partisan pressure group that protects the image, culture, property, and overall well-being of the Muslim Ummah.
  5. YOUTH EMPOWERMENT & MOBILITY: To develop young Muslims’ minds, characters, and socio-economic mobility through mentorship, internships, job placements, and regular leadership training programs.
  6. MEDIA PRESENCE FOR STRATEGIC NATIONAL ENGAGEMENT: To raise awareness for causes, policies, and values that are important to the Muslim Ummah, and maintain an adequate strategic presence on both traditional and non-traditional media.
