About Us
The Island Muslim Community (IMC), is an umbrella body for all Muslim individuals, communities, masajids, and Muslim corporate entities on the Island.
As a faith-based, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, its membership straddles the length and breadth of Obalende, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki, Agungi, Chevron, VGC-Ikota, Ajah, Sango-Tedo, Okun-Ajah, Awoyaya, Ibeju-Lekki, Lakwe, Abaranje, amongst others.
Given the dearth of Muslim burial grounds in this axis. It became necessary to come together as a community to provide a final resting place for the ummah according to Islamic injunctions.
